THOMPSON EGBO-EGBO


Toronto–based pianist Thompson T. Egbo-Egbo has been known to seduce audiences around the world by pushing the definition of genre. His mix of styles and unique interpretation of various repertoires from jazz to classical to pop provide him with a distinct and exciting sonic blend.

Growing up in the very multi-cultural city of Toronto, Canada Egbo-Egbo believes the inimitable contribution of each culture has created a wonderful breeding ground for the development of his creativity.

As a Humber College (Toronto) and Berklee College of Music (Boston) graduate, his curiosity as an artist nudges him to push past the confines that define and discover new elements that refine.




HORSESHOE TAVERN CONCERT


Please join us for a very special performance by eOne recording artist Thompson Egbo Egbo. His album 'A New Standard' has just been released on eOne, and we are celebrating with a concert in Toronto at The Legendary Horseshoe Tavern on Tuesday February 13th at 9:00pm. 


Thompson has been a fixture on the jazz scene in Toronto for several years, but together we're going to help the world hear this amazing musician. 


The Horseshoe Tavern has hosted legendary Toronto debuts: The Police, Talking Heads and The Cramps, just to name a few. There is not one music fan who wouldn't have loved to have been at one of those shows. Let's make this that show for the Thompson Egbo Egbo Trio.
